The meeting was called to order at 7:40 pm.

5 new members were introduced. A warm welcome to Greta, Dee, Lisa, Rita, and Iris. Everyone present introduced themselves.
The fall show is scheduled for Nov 30-Dec 2 at Garrett Park Town Hall in Maryland and will be Co-Chaired by Greta M. and Natalia K. All of our supplies are donated and are a mixture of different materials and color. Ideas to improve the displays were discussed such as painting the shelves and utilizing black tablecloths. More information on signing up for jobs will be forthcoming at the next meeting.
Jacob will be webmaster this year. To draw people to our site we need a constant flow of new content such as events and photos. All members are encouraged to send content to . We need volunteers to manage facebook and twitter.
Creative Craft Council
The next juried show will be held at the Strathmore Mansion from May 4-June 14. Members can submit up to 3 pieces for the show. Eileen will be stepping down as the CCC representative after 15 years and they are looking for a new champion. They will also be looking for advertising assistance.
A motion was made to approve the 2013 budget at $2800.
Liz reported that she purchased a new book on hand building.
The formal meeting adjourned. After the break, Linda B. presented a program on texture. Members had an opportunity to share their favorite texturing tools, texturing methodology, and purchase tools.
