Troy Bungart Presentation

It’s hard to pin a maker’s label onto Troy Bungart. Insatiably curious and constantly active, Troy is recognized in the Arts community for not one but three avenues of creativity: He is a Potter with breadth and depth of experience, a Woodworker who has set a new standard with high-quality pottery tools, and a Brushmaker who creates functional yet expressive tools for mark-making.

Troy will be speaking with us from his home in Three Rivers, Michigan to share what led him into these three areas of endeavor and his philosophy on what makes his soulful work resonate with collectors. He looks forward to a robust Q&A dialogue with program participants.

Troy holds a BFA with a concentration in Ceramic Art from Northern Kentucky University. He sells his work online through galleries and shops. He teaches workshops, joins as many wood firings as he can, and considers the greatest perk of being an artist is netwoking with other creative people around the globe.
